We have a washing machine cabinet / casing made of underlayment Finnish spruce, consisting of 2 open parts for a washer / dryer or refrigerator and 3 closed parts with a door.

Washing machine conversion from Finnish spruce

We have ordered underlayment Finnish spruce from TOSIZE.co.uk. The wood is put together by means of angle profiles and screws. We opted for corner profiles because we did not want any screws visible on the outside. The working drawing contains the reference numbers to the order list. The doors were the biggest challenge. The doors are inset, so we ordered hinges for inset doors. Our doors have a 3mm joint, so that the pot size for the chosen hinges + cross plates was 4mm. Then drilled the holes with a drill press.
