Description
Assembled two Smastad toy boxes from Ikea, ordered the multiplex sheets from TOSIZE.co.uk, lightly sanded and varnished, and then attached the 18 mm Birch multiplex sheets (from the inside with screws).
DIY Ikea Smastad Hack
- 2 Ikea smastad toy boxes put together - measurements taken from the boxes, taking into account the baseboards in the living room - the planks ordered from TOSIZE.co.uk - lightly sanded with a fine sandpaper, - twice lacquered with Sigmavar WS Matt, this is a fine paint as it does not smell and well attached. Good for protecting the shelves, especially with children - the shelves are fixed with screws (from the inside). The side shelves are also glued to the smastad furniture
