DIY dining table bench with storage space from MDF, by Wouter

Description

We have made a dining table bench in the kitchen. The flaps are mounted with piano hinges so that there is storage space below. The sofa is inspired by this Youtube movie, with some minor adjustments: https://youtu.be/84uTA-pBogQ

Custom dining bench

It is best to watch the YouTube video, but started by mounting beams on the wall and placing the partitions. Then the floor slat. We did not fix this to the floor, but only attached it to the partitions. Then cut the kick plate at 15 degrees with the circular saw and fixed it. Then on top of another bar attached to the wall side. Finally, the flaps are attached with piano hinges. Everything secured with screws and wood glue.
