For the living room we have made a radiator conversion, with a wide windowsill on top. For example, the long radiator is less visible, and we can enjoy the sun on the widened windowsill.
Customized radiator conversion and windowsill
1) All sheets and slats cut to size (unfortunately the frames do not run straight with us, so we had to saw exactly to size) 2) The mdf sheets and the pinewood were put in the edge sealer (edges) and the top and bottom treated with rigo sklyt lacquer. 3) Glued the slats to the construction slats and fastened them together at the back with a screw. construct placed where it should be. Behind the construct on both sides a piece of wood glued to the wall with mounting kit, this is screwed against the construct with a corner bracket. Window sill plates laid in place. Shelves not fixed with sealant or glue, so we can still remove shelves to vacuum when needed ;)
The dimensions of the project
43.0 cm deep and 280.0 cm long.
