What colors of furniture panels are there?
If you look in our assortment you will see only one panel material which is listed under the name furniture panels, namely Furniture Panel White. However, this is not the only type of furniture panel we have in our range. In addition to this standard form of furniture panel, we also have melaminated chipboard and carpentry panel in our range. Melaminated chipboard and MDF do not officially fall under furniture panels, as the ends are not yet finished, but they can be ordered from us as furniture panels. You can do this by choosing ABS band as edge finish during the ordering process.

What types of furniture panels are there?
We have already largely discussed two types of furniture panels, traditional furniture panels and melamine chipboard. In addition to these two types, we also have carpentry panels in our range. These panels are very different than the other two types of furniture panels. This is because carpentry panels are made from slats of solid wood. This gives the material a much more natural look and also requires a different finish. The most commonly used varieties of carpentry panel are Carpentry Panel Spruce and Carpentry Panel Pine. Both panels have a light color, but Lumber Panel Pine has a slightly darker, orange color. Lumber Panel Spruce is a bit lighter in weight, but Lumber Panel Pine is again easier to work with. For the most high-end projects, we also have Oak panels. We have these panels in an A/B sight quality, for a sleek, quieter look and rustic sight quality for a wilder, natural look.

Furniture panels in various thicknesses
In most cases, you'll first choose from the available colors or types of furniture panels to ensure that the look meets your expectations. Nevertheless, the thickness is also something to consider. For example, inserting a dowel is easier in a thicker panel than in a thin panel. The same applies to working with screws in the panels. In many cases it is therefore advisable to look at the thickness of the available furniture panels. You then have the choice of 5 thickness sizes. Get started with 10, 18 or 19 millimeters thick panels if you want to keep the panels as thin as possible. The succeeding thickness sizes are 26 and 28 millimeters. Finally, there are furniture panels with a thickness of 40 millimeters.
