Oak and Stone Hanging TV Stand, by Bowie

Description

In the wall were two large stone blocks. Removing these is no fun, so I decided to turn it into a TV cabinet by connecting the two bricks with a sheet of Oak Timmer panel.

Work description: how did you realize your project

In this case, the job is quite simple. I just had to measure the total area properly. I will make sure that they are half a centimeter too wide so that we can possibly mount a wooden plank on the edges in the future, if we no longer like the stone side view. We opted for an Oak Timber panel in 40 mm thickness and we had the edges chamfered 2 mm, for a more finished look. When the shelf was delivered it was simple! I treated the plank with a transparent furniture oil. Then I put the plank on top and I was done. Fortunately, he fits perfectly. We are very happy with it!
