Jan has created custom knee walls for the baby room. To create extra storage space, he ordered primed MDF cut to size. Using a rail system, a simple way to create a lot of additional storage space was achieved.

Description by Jan

For the baby room, there was a desire to create a knee wall sliding door, so that the space could be optimally used as storage for children's items.

How I Made This Project

This project was tackled as follows:
Step 1: Removed the wooden knee wall
Step 2: Raised and leveled the bottom + sides with beams
Step 3: Attached sliding rails to the top beam
Step 4: Measured how much MDF panel was needed for both doors and finishing
Step 5: Ordered desired MDF (primed) panels online
Step 6: Mounted MDF panels
Step 7: Painted all MDF material in desired color
Step 8: Attached accompanying rails
Step 9: Mounted draft strips
