In this DIY project, Kim shares her experience with designing a custom TOSIZE Furniture cabinet. Because she chose to paint MDF herself, she could still choose to furnish the cupboard with this cool ocher yellow color. Read more about her approach below.

Description by Kim

Our living room was still missing something, after a long search I came across the custom configurator from TOSIZE Furniture. Yes! Finally the space to put together a cupboard yourself and to choose your own color that can go up the stairs (in pieces :)) Order (wait a while) and get started!

How I did this project

I was shocked by the amount of packages, but in the end it was super good and easy to put together. Put together within a few hours without any help. Unfortunately, the painting job seemed to take forever. The selected gray color turned out to be lilac and this was not a sight :). That's why I opted for ocher yellow and am now super happy with this cabinet! - Arrange all packages in order - Start at the beginning :), very good instructions so it quickly becomes clear what the correct method is. - Assemble the cabinet, seal all seams - Degrease the cabinet and lightly sand it - 2 x primer (gray) - 2 x paint (light gray, unfortunately turned out lilac) - 2 x new paint (ochre yellow)

Dimensions of my DIY project

208.0 cm wide
240.0 cm high
40.0 cm deep
