In this DIY project, Ans demonstrates how she made a custom children's play table herself. Instead of buying a standard model online, she decided to use custom-cut Finnish pine ordered online. The result is a beautiful play table that can be enjoyed for years.

A children's play table made of Finnish Pine. A children's play table is available online, and my daughter-in-law wanted to buy this for our granddaughter. I found the price to be quite expensive and decided to take measurements and order Finnish Pine online since it's not available in regular hardware stores, and get to work myself. We are all extremely happy with the result!!

How I Made This Project

I saw this children's play table online and the dimensions were provided. I then ordered these dimensions. Finnish Pine. I screwed the side panels onto the tabletop first, using strips as additional support for screwing. Then I cut the front strips at an angle. After that, I started on the separate toy bin, first screwing on strips for stability. I drilled a small hole in the front and tied a rope through it, and attached flat wheels to the bottom so it can be moved around.
